A ski-boot can be manufactured with Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) technology, utilizing recyclable PA12 reinforced with carbon fibers and magnetic nanoparticles for the main part and TPU with Ag nanoparticles for the insole. The printing parameters applied for its manufacturing are established after the implementation of successive parameter-interdependent printability tests, in order to determine the optimal parameters combination. The developed ski-boot and insoles has been implemented to mechanical testing and toxicological studies, to evaluate their mechanical properties and estimate their compatibility with skin contact. Finally, the reinforced PA12 used for the manufacturing of the demonstrator has been subjected to multiple recycling processes, and the printability of distinct cycles was evaluated through customised interdependent parametrisation tests.
